The FTC has released statements that state Sanctuary Belize is a Real Estate Investment Scam. https://www.ftc.gov/news-events/press-releases/2018/11/ftcs-request-court-halts-massive-sanctuary-belize-real-estate

After taking a closer look at this possible scam I came across several videos of Michael Santos of which he was promoting and seeking investors to become involved.

Enticing them with opportunity for high yeild returns. He speakes often of his partner Justin Paperny who claims to be a prison consultant that advises white collar criminals how to survive prison. What is very interesting in all of this is that it could be very possible that Michael Santos along with Justin Paperny may have invited white collar criminals that hired Justin Paperny to invest in what the FTC deems a giant scam. Justin Paperny has already served prison time on a separate crime in the past.

Now it is possible that individuals who invested in this said to be scam could also be under investigation in addition to criminal activity they were already involved in prior to engagement with Justin Paperny. To my understanding Justin Paperny along with Michael Santos have a couple businesses. It looks like they are partners with company Prison Professors. It also shows Justin Paperny has a business referred as White Collar Advice.

As of now it only appears that the FTC is investigating this a potentially a fraud. If you or anyone you know thinks they could be a potential victim of this scheme you should contact the Federal Trade Commission at 877-382-4357
