Purchased the 3 year warranty on my new TV it quit the first month and Walmart will not stand behind their goods! Forget the money you save and go somewhere that you can get service and that doesn’t take money for a warranty they have no intention of backing up ..

It isn't up to the retail store to stand behind products. The manufacturer provides a warranty and you purchased a service plan to provide coverage beyond that.

As your TV failed in the first month it would be covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Have you bothered contacting the manufacturer and taken your TV to one of their service centers as stated in your warranty?

Walmart warranty is a scam a waste of your money I bought a TV send it in for repairs with color lines going through the TV my TV was sent back to me worse than when I sent it in and they told me that there was nothing that they can do the warranty is a scam just to get your money you will never ever get anything from them using this plan.

Hhgregg - Store boyght item

I bought 2 40 inch tv had one tv for a 7 months go out send pic no service no tv micro wave been waiting 9 mts to get fixed. Bought a true balance washing machine. Waiting 6 mts come out fixed work one wk mayb two dont work got to go back to the warranty company. This {{Redacted}} this what i get for over $3000 worth of worthless items

Time to start a paper trail. You should have done it earlier.

No more calls.

Written complaint, Certified Mail return receipt requested , followup within 10 days.

You're giving up too easily.

Get on that warranty company you paid for. They are just like insurance companies : delay and deny.

But again - no more calls !

Hhgregg in Arlington, Virginia - NEED TO VENT AGAIN

A few years ago, I bought a TV from HHGregg, for which I did A LOT of negotiating and refused the extended warranty. Although I only used the LG remote to turn the TV on and off, utilizing my ISP's remote for everything else, I had to replace the LG remote's batteries VERY frequently!!!! LG was terrific about servicing the TV, having their person replace various parts, but the problem persisted.... Ultimately, they replaced the TV for me, and I have had, knock on wood, absolutely no problems since the replacement. : > ) After reading various reviews here, I have concluded that my first TV was a returned "lemon," which had been delivered to me because of my negotiated price and/or my extended warranty refusal. I am again submitting a review here to warn others. The parking lot of my neighborhood HHGregg is always virtually empty, and I honestly do not know how the company stays in business !!!! One thing is for sure..... I WILL NEVER MAKE ANOTHER HHGREGG PURCHASE !!!

Life is simply not worth living if you don't have a telly to watch, as I understand your complaint. Your initial two mistakes were 1.

buying anything at Sam's Club and 2. buying an LG telly. Both of these are huge mistakes. Next time you need a telly, get a Panasonic, RCA or similar brand name one.

I would write more, but I have to catch the Metropolitan Opera on my 60" Panasonic via streaming.

Good luck. I don't suppose you would consider reading a book?

Bought a 50 Toshiba Led tv 2yrs ago. Recently I had a issue with the tv and had to file a repair claim with the warranty company. It has been 1 month now and still no tv no store credit and I'm told they are waiting for parts. The tech that was repairing my tv informed me he sent in the information twice, letting the warranty company know a estimate of how much the repair is. They denied having the information and still have no clue about my tv or credit. I was told I would have a piece of mind buy that warranty it' been the worst decision of my life and I will never step foot into HHgregg again , and recommend no one buy anything from them. Their corp office doesn't care I was talking to a supervisor and she put me on hold then transferred my call to the warranty company. The only 2 tv's in the store of equal value are smaller and outdated models than my tv , either I got robbed and it started in their store . warning don't but any extended warranty...... Go to BestBuy!
