Whatwears - Horrible business

I placed an order for 4 jogging suits. 1/1/19.

The quality of fabric is terrible. Cheap fabric. They advertise returns. It took 3-4 emails to them before they responded.

And about 4-5 days to respond. All 4 are too small. Out of 15 emails she still refuse to give me return address. And say they will only give me 20% of what I paid.they send the same msg back each time.

Actual garments looks nothing like advertising. Never order again

Dhgate - So unethical

1.0
Details

I purchased a woman’s pant suit from DHgate in April for my grand daughters wedding.

I sent as requested measurements and size according to their size chart. It didn’t fit much too small too not even a size 6 and pants were fine. I immediately contacted them for address to return the outfit. Nothing, I text them every night for weeks and still nothing. I then gave them a bad review and they said (which I have every text) change the review and we will give you a refund of 20.00. I paid 111.31. I told them I am on fixed income please I cannot afford to spend another 100.00 on an outfit. Nothing I heard nothing

All they was interested in was changing the review. Well I wore a borrowed dress that did not fit. Up until today all they want is the review changed. I told them I will send the outfit back, and after you receive it will I get my refund. Not until review is changed. They are

A Horrid company who takes your money but goes dormant on refunds, and I am not the only one.

There has been no communication on their end. I did not like how my suit fit and wanted a refund.

I emailed them as their instructions state, but have had no response.

Beware! Also there is no known phone number to contact!

Ivrose - Don't waste your hard earned money!

Ordered a black pants suit. Took 6 weeks to arrive, ordered a size medium.

When the package finally arrived, The item was not the same as advertised. The fabric is cheap and it looks like a Party City costume. For a medium, it was 2 sizes to big. It looked like a clown suit for a clowns funeral Products from China.

Bad service.

Purchase at your own risk. Beware

Express - "Do not remove the tag" issue

1.0
Details

I recently bought a suit at Express for my family function, unfortunately that function was cancelled, i unknowingly removed the "Do not remove the tag".When i went to return it they said they cant take it back since i removed that tag and they were so rude to me. Here's the thing why cant the fix that *** tag themselves, whereever we go say macys, sears they are accepting with tag but this company have some freaking policies for the return.

i got pissed off and the blazer costs $450 and its gonna sleep in my cupboard. Worst customers service experience i had ever had in my life.

The point of the do not remove tag is so that people can’t just “rent” the item, as is often done with nice dresses or clothing items used for special events. Most places don’t allow you to return something without the tag that has the price/barcode on it, but these tags are often placed on the inside collar of the clothing and therefore can easily be hidden or tucked away allowing someone to wear the item to an event without taking off the tag and then being able to return it.

Express is smart yet kinda douchey in placing these special “do not remove” tags in places like the outside of the seam half way down the garment, so there is no where to tuck it in and hide it, forcing people to take it off if they are going to wear it in public.

A kinda easy but pretty immoral fix, that I would only recommend if you truly did not wear it at all, would to be to borrow a tag gun from where you work if you work in retail, or from a friend of yours that works in retail to reattach the tag. You could run into an issue though because the tags are attached with black tag strings while most places use clear tag strings.

If you were willing to spend $450 for a single event yet complain it will never be worn because the function was cancelled, you need to re-evaluate your spending choices. It also makes your complaint seem suspect - that you did in fact wear it after removing the DO NOT REMOVE tag and now want to return it like you borrowed it. Ask a friend next time.

@Anonymous

What's your problem, are you trolling for express? You don't have the right to judge what anyone spends for an outfit, etc.

I haven't left a review yet, but express is one of the worst retailers concerning a litany of issues: return policies, including forcing the customer to now print their own return label and changing the return limit from ninety to sixty days. The "in stock" issue would be laughable if it weren't so unethical. Charges are held for items for DAYS , even though the item is not in stock. Countless times I have made an online purchase and the total amount is held twice and takes a few days to fall off.

I shop online all the time, and this is not a normal practice. Express clothing quality has also deteriorated-reordered the same ponte knit leggings and they are nothing like the first pair. Fabric for tops is thinner and pills easily. And, their customer service is terrible.

I had to argue with them to send me an item which they didn't include in my order, but was paid for.

Express is unethical, and I would like to see them reprimanded legally. The best thing to do is never shop with them again.

Beyond The Rack - Suit Review from Oakville, Ontario

1.0
Details

Bought a suit supposed to be size 40 short. Didn't come close to fitting - pants didn't even fit my 11 year old son - total garbage and nothing like the picture on their app.

Of course when I went to return it i found out they went into bankruptcy protection. Nice - shouldn't be surprised and I lost $250 in that. Lesson learned. If a deal looks too good to be true, it is.

Move on and buy from reputable online or bricks and mortar retailers from now on. Must be run by the Montreal mob.
