Wayfair in Fremont, California - Warning-i do not recommend their credit card

I bought a rug and paid it off but the due date had a cut off time which I didn't know about. Then they charged fees after fees and would only refund me except for 1. I ended up paying double for the rug in the end. This is the 2nd bad experience I've had with them. Not worth opening up their credit card or even using it.

Sounds like you waited until the very last day to make your payment, but it didn't "hit" until after the cut-off time for processing on that day. This is typical of most financial organizations.

It used to be 2pm at my bank, meaning that any payment or deposit, etc., made after 2pm would be posted the next business day.

This is how we learn. Don't wait until the last moment to make a payment.

So, let's review. I ordered a rug a week ago. I called for order status last Friday and was told the rug had not left the warehouse. Then today I get an email saying I cancelled the order and a credit has been issued. I DID NOT CANCEL THE ORDER - THAT IS A BOLD LIE. So I called your less than stellar customer service and find the rug is out of stock and you canceled the order. Why did it take a week to realize you were out of stock? Why do you lie about such things? I thought it sucked that it took a week for delivery in the first place, and now after waiting a week you pull this *** What a horrific way to treat customers. Incompetent liars.

I ordered from Wayfair 11 days ago. I had an email saying when it would be delivered. Since then I've had around 7/8 emails that alternate between "it's delayed and we can't give you a delivery date" and " it's on its way, here's a new delivery date". Every new delivery date is further away and every new date is followed by an email a day or two later saying it's delayed and no delivery date can be given. Will it ever arrive? Who knows??!?

Details
Ordered a purple gray area rug. When I received it, it was blue gray. Called a person from Wayfair said yes they sent me wrong rug. They were goi g to send me another rug. I received a email asking for picture of rug. When sent the told me it was the correct rug. Seven people looked at it and said there was no purple in it. I’m sending it back for refund. Won’t order from them again. This was the first and only time.

I ordered a Hand-Knotted 100% wool rug 9 x 13’ . It’s huge so I didn’t unwrap it before my floor was repaired (from Hurricane Harvey). Went to open it & it’s a different rug, machine made from plastic. Weeks of back & forth emails. They admitted the wrong rug was sent. Dragging it out & now they said too bad.

Most large floor rugs do have curled corners when first rolled out onto the floor. Try sitting something on each curled corner to hold it down for a couple hours will resolve the issue. Problem solved without making complaints and raising your own blood pressure.
