Amazon Local - Mala function of Amazon remote

Dear Sir I bought Amazon fire stick and unfortunately I am facing great difficulties with the same as it works only for 24 to 48 hours with one set of batteries I mean the the remote of the same. I have changed more than 50 sets of batteries in the remote in the last 9 months is it normal for the Amazon remote or there is some defect in the remote control. Ordered an Asian Salad for lunch today. Underwhelmed. So what makes a salad Asian? If Panera adds wonton strips and sesame dressing they can call it Asian Salad. 4 ingredients- lettuce, almonds, chicken and wonton strips. No mandarin oranges or anything else. I recently "upgraded" to the new whole home system. BTW it lags badly in rooms away from the central device. The new remote is awful. The smaller size is nice, but the buttons are too close together (I have very small hands) and they relocated many of the buttons for no apparent reason and now nothing is easily found without looking at it. It's also on a hair trigger so if you breathe too hard on it the TV starts going nuts. Give me the old remote back please!

Again, ask for a supervisor. Don't waste time talking to the first person to answer after you tell them the situation and ask what are they going to do to fix the problem.

Remote is NOT USER FRIENDLY. There is no Exit button on remote -- only a Back button which only takes you back one step. If you are more than 1 step in you have to BACK out as many steps as you are in. Most all remote commands require 2 or more clicks to accomplish...

If you press and hold the back button(1press) it will exit. I agree with anonymous above. This is almost completely user error or settings you can change.

Directv Now - Very disappointed in direct now.

Awkward to use. The remote is way too sensitive- no way to channel surf. Cannot go back and forth between channels. Cannot get reviews of programs to learn what it is about.How to mute? How to hold/wait/pause and return to same place.? Was told in original call to sign on that a tech would come out to set up then next person told me that would not happen. No way to make it play on 2nd Tv as Dish did via powermid line of sight which beamed programs to upstairs tv. Will hang on to see if things improve but at this point I hate it - too user UNfriendly, You need to start over, ATT!!!! I don’t know who decides the ads coverage but trying to watch Killing Eve, there were commercials every 3-4 minutes so we will not watch it. We DO appreciate that Cspan is available

So I bought a Ellis dstv remote control @ my nearest Shoprite,when I got home to my surprise it's not working,next day I returned it. One the cashier didn't even great asked what I was returning and I said my remote control,she asked was it opened and I said yes coz I needed to use it,she Sai no I can't return it and I said oh yes you are taking it back. She went to the managers office with 1 other item besides the one I was returning. Came back and said the person for the remote go to the managers office and I asked why he don't come to me no response, I went anyways pissed to the max and he said I cant return it and ow yes I can u will have to take it back to your supplier and therefore they will have to give you some sort of refund. He said this is a waste coz I shouldn't have opened it, the way I was so pissed I couldn't even answer
