TDS - Review all of the other people/reports
I lived next to a dish executive in CO then moved to StG and to direct tv then when I moved homes I reluctantly tried TDS 8+ months and have had constant problems and now for the first time writing a complaint. I’ve read the other posts and have had the same issues so don’t just take my word I concur with the other listed complaints.
I wish I had a good thing to say, even one, but from the start through customer service and even the technicians that come to replace what were brand new boxes when I first signed on must’ve been not new or replaced with some sort of refurbished box to the actual video and audio Quality but also the constant almost daily or every other day at some point have an outage or down that either require a full reset or just wait and hope it gets fixed and turned back on. Good luck with yours and hope your decision is a good one. I don’t like to complain and never have written a negative response online because I know how hard it is to get off a bad review online or one disgruntled user affecting what is A good company as I’ve seen in the past.
But this is not that and I have never turned in any review good or bad on any company so it’s my first. Good luck
TDS - Slow Unreliable CRAP
I get less than one megabyte per second on their most expensive deal. I should be getting the best.
Only internet in our area so it is the only one cant switch.
I would have to move!

TDS - *** speed, monopoly
1.5mb download for $75/month. They admitted throttling everyone in the area because of more customers than infrastructure.
Up to 5mb/7mb/15mb download speeds, all at 1-2mb.
Doesn't matter what you pay for. No other internet in the area(besides sat) and no plans to update.
TDS - Poor Internet speeds
Called 3 times this month. New modem didn’t help at all.
Viacom - Scam-overcharge
My dad tried Viacom for a few months and was not charged the agreed price. They also charged his credit card for reasons which they tell us why and now have refused to give him a credit back..
The representative I talked to was unclear and contradictive. I was placed on hold multiple times so he could speak with another group regarding my dad's account.
TDS is not updating their capacity in Harlan Twp Ohio.
TDS has not improved their speeds, latency and line consistency in my area since early 2000's-they are letting customers get by with shoddy and inconsistent speeds and still charge full price. The TDS people I deal with on the local level are friends of mine that I went to school with, however,...they they agree with me and according to my sources the problem is on the corporate level and not on the workers in the field.
I am not indicting those who take orders in the field and truly work for a living-I blame those making decisions high up to save money by pushing us all like sardines onto the same bandwidth in order to same from purchasing more of it. This matter is about greed- not the ability to create capacity.
TDS - Not worth it
This is the worst wifi service customer service sucks internet drops like a dropped call 10 Kbs of speed get worse or doesn’t work at all

Can't find my account on file yet my bill is growing,..
I can't get the problem solved with their customer service im being connected to a different country with horrible customer service skills... im frustrated
Did i mention the internet speed is not as fast as advertised.. issues with programs interruption over and over, they will be loosing another customer pretty darn soon.
